We were delighted to be one of the big winners at the Northern Digital Awards 2017 last night, scooping not one, but two awards!

Members of the team along with our client and managing director of Yogamatters, Twanna Doherty, took a road trip from our office in Newcastle to the Royal Armouries in Leeds to attend the award ceremony.

The NDAs recognise the very best in digital campaigns, website design and development, apps and video as well as acknowledge the talent in the North.

Following a successful 2016 which saw our agency double in size, we took home the award for ‘Best Ecommerce Website’ for the design and development of the yogamatters.com website, with our very own Digital Marketing Consultant, Sean Anderson, awarded Young Digital Marketer of the Year!

The judges’ comments were the icing on the cake, noting that we had submitted “an excellent entry that showed outstanding results with conversion and ROI figures clearly presented, demonstrating to the judges that it was a clear winner”.

Speaking at the event, Twanna Doherty, Managing Director at Yogamatters, said: “I would just like to say a huge thank you to Venture Stream who have helped a really small business achieve something huge.”

Managing Director at Venture Stream, Vic Morgan, says: “We specialise in supporting ecommerce businesses, so naturally, we were thrilled to win the Best Ecommerce Website Award.

“That said, it wouldn’t be possible to achieve the results that we do without the talent of the individuals who work here. For that reason, we’re equally delighted for Sean winning the Young Digital Marketer of the Year award.

“To be recognised by such a prestigious award in our own region is fantastic and a great way to start 2017.”

Venture Stream was founded three years ago, having received start-up support from Northstar Ventures and Rivers Capital and is one of the fastest-growing agencies in the North East, with revenues growing 60% in 2016.
